Subseries contains books, publications, newsletters, pamphlets, and other printed materials from Latter-Day Saint veterans who served in the United States military during the World War II. Dated 1937-1996.

Subseries contains accounts, autobiographies, interviews, memoirs, letters, photographs, histories, newspaper clippings, poetry, obituaries, articles, and books from Latter-Day Saint civilians who experienced the World War II, but did not serve in the military. The various materials detail the experiences of these civilians during the war, and some materials relate to the lives of specific civilians before and after the war. Dated 1937-2009.

Scope and Contents Sub-series includes the Saints at War Project records for the U.S. Army during World War II. These are records which refer to the war in general, don’t have a specific theater, or apply to more than one theater. The records are primarily in the forms of military records, memoirs, interviews, photographs, articles, and letters. There are many other types of materials included in the files as well. Subseries contains memoirs, letters, responses to the Saints at War Questionnaire and Latter-day Saints in the Military Survey, photographs, articles, interviews, accounts, books, written histories, oral histories, journal entries, clippings, biographies, autobiographies, military records, artifacts, telegrams, diaries, etc from Latter-Day Saint veterans who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, which would later become the U.S. Air Force, during the World War II. The materials mainly detail the experiences each of the veterans had as Army nurses (and surgeon and camp physician in the case of Albert Lamoin Olson) during the war, but in some cases go into their pre-war and...

Subseries contains memoirs, photographs and negatives, correspondence such as letters and emails, clippings, articles, a floppy disk, a map timeline, and a CD-ROM from Latter-day Saint veterans who served in the United States Marine Corps during the World War II. The materials detail the experiences each of these veterans had during the war and in some cases, go into further detail about their pre-war and post-war lives. Dated 1940-2007.
